Searching for Salvation

Well, I've had a long run of being way too busy and having way too many manips sitting on my computer that will probably never get done. This is venting the anger that is biting at my thoughts. >.< My mom's going in for surgery tomorrow and it's snowing. And I've been going to work/showing dogs sick for the past week so I guess I needed a manip to ease my mind. I can't tell you how long I sat at my computer painting hair today....because we all know how awesome I am at manes and tails. Anyway I wanted a painted pony...but I wanted to try a more natural/flowy type style of painting. You know...that doesn't have all the "I totally painted on this cheek bone with a white line" type of thing. But I didn't want him to look super delicate anyway, so w/e. I haven't decided whether I like this style yet or not. Oh yea...and I'm WAY out of practice on changing color. >.< Getting that gold color almost killed me. Almost. I think it was mostly destroying the shadows the original stock had...but it still wanted to steal my soul. I swear. /rant
